Barcode scan split to 2 different fields in ITS

Hi Experts,

I have requirement where the barcode needs to be scanned and the content needs to be overflown to another field.

For example I have material and plant combination in the barcode scan, but when I scan it should automatically split the entry into 2 fields.

I need first 18 digits to populate to material and then the next 4 to populate to the plant. is there any way we can achieve this either by RF ABAP programming or by RF device configuration ?
